Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Prince Héritier tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stokkolm Desmond C. that came steaming ahead. Prince Héritier was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. driver couldn't keep Power Hero to trotting so they were disqualified.

Happy Pain saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. To Be Proud galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Happy Pain clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Stokkolm Desmond C. suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Scotty Doesn't Know was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Titan Sign accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Titan Sign kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Stefan Söderkvist tried a little too much on the homestretch and Scotty Doesn't Know started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Stella Maris won the race after a spectacular finish.
