The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ockhams Razor could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Bo Falsig wanted a little to much in the start and Light Missile galoped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Close Strategy sprinted to the front.




Close Strategy was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Close Strategy today. It continued in the lead.




Close Strategy kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Close Strategy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Nellore won the race after a spectacular finish.
