One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Mountain was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Blazing Arrow was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Big Green Machine started to galop and lost 20 m.




Bìhoun saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
