It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dei Gratia tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Windy Starshine that came steaming ahead. Paw Mahony wanted a little to much in the start and Sliding Scale galoped for 30 m. Why This Beauty showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Valentino quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Jumping Crusher took the lead after 1000m. Zimmerit Larockma didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Sliding Scale showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Jumping Crusher kept the speed the whole finish and won before Zimmerit Larockma and Windy Starshine.
