The weather had been good all week and Lappeenranta was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sterkere Enn Noen sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Falling Angel sprinted to the front.




Sterkere Enn Noen sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Lonely Lovebreaker galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sterkere Enn Noen followed by Lonely Lovebreaker and Cassius. Lane two Time Bandit followed by Starstruck Galaxy and Falling Angel. Unschlagbar galloped for 20 m.



Sterkere Enn Noen kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Lonely Lovebreaker galop. Lonely Lovebreaker lost 20 m.




Time Bandit won. Sterkere Enn Noen came in second. Cassius caught third place.
