The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Excellent Survivor. Daragh ended up behind the leader. Admiral Platinum got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Sliding Pain suddenly started to galop. Olle Goop had to struggle to get Sliding Pain to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Per Berg Thomsen wanted a little to much in the start and To Be Proud galoped for 40 m.

Hvid Due quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Dreaming Of Karelia who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Hvid Due clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Tres Trik to trotting so they were disqualified.

Sliding Pain accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Dreaming Of Karelia galloped for 40 m.

Stunning Sun suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Daragh was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Admiral Platinum won. Excellent Survivor came in second. Stunning Sun caught third place.
