The sun was shining on Halsua and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Local Nemo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Golden Spice was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Power Angel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Quick Missile looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Local Nemo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Power Angel.




Power Angel was still in the lead after 1500m.



Power Angel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Local Nemo made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Golden Spice.
