Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Front Comet found a gap and took the lead. Running Ace followed before Kung-åke.




Perfect Empire quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Front Comet took the lead after 1000m. Lad Være didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Cloud Nine was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
