One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Clever Rocker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Stars And Stripes, Il Capitano, Clever Rocker, Puzzle, Flying Pride, Mariposa Beso, Wicked Wasp, Wolfman.




Il Capitano looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Clever Rocker couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stars And Stripes.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Stars And Stripes today. It continued in the lead.



Wolfman was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Il Capitano suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

John Östman tried a little too much on the homestretch and Il Capitano started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Stars And Stripes sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
