The sun was shining on Solvalla today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Spike De Rabotiere took the lead after a very quick start. On A Mountain was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Shadows Fall sprinted to the front. Show Me Strength galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of On A Mountain who started to galop and lost 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Spike De Rabotiere didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
