One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stokkolm Desmond C. took the lead after a very quick start.

Always Late quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Happy New Year was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Always Late was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Calming Rock started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Geodude galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

driver couldn't keep Always Late to trotting so they were disqualified. Chien De Guerre galloped way to long and was disqualified. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Veni Vidi Vici won the race after a spectacular finish.
