It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Empiress was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. White Dove, Calming Folder, Empiress, Wild Cowboy, Stretching Closet, Ciao Bella, High Priestess, In My Soul.




Calming Folder sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Stretching Closet showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Calming Folder followed by Empiress and White Dove. Lane two Wild Cowboy followed by Ciao Bella and In My Soul.



Calming Folder were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Wild Cowboy won. Empiress came in second. Calming Folder caught third place.
