The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Umåker today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kookaburra found a gap and took the lead. Katie Cruel followed before Famous Twister.




Metal Bird quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Katie Cruel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. A bird flew just in front of Famous Twister who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Metal Bird clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



With only a little left of the race Famous Twister galoped for 30 m. Metal Bird clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Katie Cruel galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Metal Bird kept the speed the whole finish and won before Lucious and Lady Hurricane.
