One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Von Schmeganhausen could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Hard
Blast showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Perfect Silverheart galloped way to long and was disqualified. Monkey Star showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.
Utter Nutter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Hard
Blast started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Perfect Silverheart was disturbed and galoped 50 m.
Night And Day looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Ironman couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Utter Nutter.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Utter Nutter today. It continued in the lead.
Maximus started to gallop after 1500m and Leif Witasp had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Ironman put some pressure on the leader and could take over.
Ironman sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
driver couldn't keep
Munga Cezar to trotting so they were disqualified.
Hard
Blast galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.
Red King won.
Ironman came in second.
Von Schmeganhausen caught third place.
