The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Addington Raceway this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonely Lady took the lead after a very quick start. John Campbell wanted a little to much in the start and Platinum Energy galoped for 40 m.




Steel Moon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Only The Beginning galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Lonely Lady saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



The Fallen Angel saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.






I Need Ice made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before The Fallen Angel.
