The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Visby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Stardoll. Sir Excellent ended up behind the leader. Volatility got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Pommerail, Sir Excellent, Stardoll, Never Die, Soma, Volatility, Rapid Evolution, Awesome Royalty One.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Soma accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Never Die suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Claes Sjöström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Awesome Royalty One started to galopp and lost 50 m. Black Mountain was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Stardoll won. Never Die came in second. Soma caught third place.
