The sun was shining on Kokkola and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Brave Garden sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Washington Ambassador galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Brave Garden was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Brave Garden today. It continued in the lead.



Brave Garden sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Brave Garden kept the speed the whole finish and won before Stopping Whirlwind and Washington Ambassador.
