It had been raining for several days at Forus but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Red Fox could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Stretching Queen to trotting so they were disqualified.




Cheval Noir saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Red Fox looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Shellbark Hickory couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cheval Noir.




Cheval Noir was still in the lead after 1500m.



Cheval Noir sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Rune Wiig tried a little too much on the homestretch and Stretching Queen started to galopp and lost 20 m.




No-one could catch Cheval Noir today who won before Shellbark Hickory and Red Fox.
