The sun was shining on Boden and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Helpful Band took the lead after a very quick start.




Helpful Band was in fine shape and held the lead.




Certainty took the lead after 1000m. X. J. Spider didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Helpful Band showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Certainty followed by Im Impressed and . Lane two X. J. Spider followed by Helpful Band and .



X. J. Spider suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Certainty made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before X. J. Spider.
