The sun was shining on Romme today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Perfect Chans. Tarzan ended up behind the leader. Wees Zitten Zieke got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and In The Air sprinted to the front.




Wees Zitten Zieke looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tarzan couldn't come out from behind the leader, In The Air.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one In The Air followed by Tarzan and Revenir Le Temps. Lane two Wees Zitten Zieke followed by With The System and Perfect Chans. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Better Sit Down gallopped for 20 m.



In The Air kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Revenir Le Temps won the race after a spectacular finish.
