One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Brave Starshine found a gap and took the lead. Smiling Galaxy followed before Through The Race. Bo Falsig wanted a little to much in the start and Prospectus galoped for 50 m. Hans G Eriksson wanted a little to much in the start and Whatever Grove galoped for 30 m.

Smiling Galaxy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Whatever Grove took the lead after 1000m. Through The Race didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whatever Grove followed by Through The Race and Smiling Galaxy. Lane two Thunder Road followed by Majestic Supreme Commander and Brave Starshine.

Whatever Grove were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Through The Race sprinted over the finishline before Thunder Road and Whatever Grove.
