One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Old Asteroid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Holiday In Days looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Greetings From Vega couldn't come out from behind the leader, Old Asteroid.




Old Asteroid was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Holiday In Days galoped for 20 m. Holiday In Days speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
