One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rapid Rocket sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Flaming Princess quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Inside Straight Draw who started to galop and lost 30 m. More Than Anything started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Inside Straight Draw galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Sweet Sugar accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Sweet Sugar looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Inside Straight Draw galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Rapid Rocket sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
