It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jump sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Jump suddenly started to galop. Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get Jump to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Happy Thrasher, Helpful Body, Djevojka, Cute Closet, Steel Satellite, Jump, X. J. Spider, Reign Of Terror.




Cute Closet sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Cute Closet was still in the lead after 1500m.



Cute Closet kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Helpful Body galop. Helpful Body lost 40 m.




Jump never caught up with Cute Closet who won. Reign Of Terror came third.
