It had been raining for several days at Haapajärvi but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Lovebreaker found a gap and took the lead. L'oreille Cassée followed before Funky Witch.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and La Changhe Monsiuer sprinted to the front.




Mindreader took the lead after 1000m. L'oreille Cassée didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




L'oreille Cassée looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. L'oreille Cassée started to gallop after 1500m and Juha Länsimäki had to struggle to get it back in trotting. I Promised Myself galloped for 50 m.



L'oreille Cassée looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Mauri Jaara tried a little too much on the homestretch and Perfect Lovebreaker started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Lone Pirate won. L'oreille Cassée came in second. Funky Witch caught third place.
