The weather had been good all week and Haapajärvi was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Scope sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Glenn The Rocker started to galop and lost 50 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. driver couldn't keep Troubling Sky to trotting so they were disqualified.




Heavy Scope clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Cube Is Nowhere galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Goofy Trap looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Midsummer Lady galloped for 40 m.




Goofy Trap sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Goofy Trap looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
