One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sleepy Madness. Life On Mars ended up behind the leader. Empire Red Planet got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Tripping Pearl quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Life On Mars took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Life On Mars followed by Haut Medoc and Tripping Pearl. Lane two Sleepy Wish followed by Patchouli and Empire Red Planet. Elegant Red galloped way to long and was disqualified. Breaking Wind galloped for 30 m.

Breaking Wind showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Life On Mars kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sleepy Wish galop. Sleepy Wish lost 40 m.

Haut Medoc made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Life On Mars.
