One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tequila Sunrise could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Tequila Sunrise clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Tequila Sunrise today. It continued in the lead. Heavy Sound galloped for 40 m.



Tequila Sunrise sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Boy Back Home sprinted over the finishline before Monte Carlo and Tequila Sunrise.
