One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frozen Breeze sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Rhythm Identification was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Cagliostro quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Sigue Sigue Sputnik took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sigue Sigue Sputnik followed by Frozen Breeze and Red Level. Lane two Frozen Factory followed by Light Sniper and Rhythm Identification.



With only a little left of the race General Hero galoped for 20 m. Sigue Sigue Sputnik kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Rhythm Identification showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Light Sniper sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
