Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Equilibrare Futuro Pace sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Opposing Feeling was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one React Quick followed by Equilibrare Futuro Pace and Ego Box. Lane two Base Attack followed by Pleasant Power and Opposing Feeling.



React Quick looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Base Attack didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
