One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Castor Tee took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Scotty Doesn't Know sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Scotty Doesn't Know who started to galop and lost 10 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Brave Thinker took the lead rather easily. Mr Big Boy suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Amaretto Milano showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brave Thinker followed by Sliding Pain and Scotty Doesn't Know. Lane two Miss Zarah followed by Castor Tee and Powerful Frenzy.




Brave Thinker kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Sliding Pain was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Miss Zarah was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Brave Thinker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Scotty Doesn't Know sprinted over the finishline before Castor Tee and Brave Thinker.
