One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Empire Red Planet found a gap and took the lead. Flying Magpie followed before The Question.




Crying Rain quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Relaxing Sword took the lead after 1000m. The Question didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Örjan Kihlström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Corton started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Gentle Giant won the race after a spectacular finish.
