One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Brave Starshine could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Smiling Galaxy sprinted to the front.




Kid Cherry sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Kid Cherry followed by Giant Prince and Heavy Pain. Lane two Whispering Trap followed by Brave Starshine and Smiling Galaxy. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Heavy Pain gallopped for 20 m.




Giant Prince took the lead.



Giant Prince looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Brave Starshine, 2 Kid Cherry, 3 Whispering Trap.
