One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





South Pacific could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Diamond Stone started to galop and lost 10 m.




Happy Diary saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Beach Boy took the lead after 1000m. Happy Diary didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Beach Boy followed by Happy Diary and Midnight Wolf. Lane two Erotic Sinner followed by South Pacific and Perfect Fly.




Beach Boy didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Beach Boy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






South Pacific made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Erotic Sinner.
