One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Afgørende found a gap and took the lead. Old Piece followed before Flower Fall. Firewall was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Flower Fall, Express It, Afgørende, Old Piece, Playing Autumn, Fighting Valley, Firewall, Jolly Top.

The leader got disturbed by something and Old Piece took the lead rather easily.

Flower Fall saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Old Piece galloped for 30 m.

Flower Fall were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Flower Fall galop. Flower Fall lost 10 m. Håkan Eriksson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Vichy started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Final standings. 1 Afgørende, 2 Old Piece, 3 Playing Autumn.
