The sun was shining on Arvika today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Sun could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Polished Energy, Stor Hovmod, Giant Prince, Diamond Heat, La La La, Magic Dance, Beautiful Sun, Sowing Wardrobe.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Scudetto was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Polished Energy was still in the lead after 1500m.




Stor Hovmod put some pressure on the leader and could take over.




There was a new leader after 2500m, Polished Energy.



Stor Hovmod litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Sowing Wardrobe was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




La La La sprinted over the finishline before Beautiful Sun and Polished Energy.
