One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gentleman Action sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Light Sound quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Gentleman Action looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that New Varenne couldn't come out from behind the leader, Light Sound.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Light Sound followed by New Varenne and Stokkolm Desmond C.. Lane two Gentleman Action followed by Fair Sky and Fagerviks Obelix Blixt. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Winner Circle gallopped for 30 m.



Gentleman Action suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Light Sound won the race after a spectacular finish.
