Only a humble breeze blew over Östersund this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Samson sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Samson saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Perfect Empire started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Samson was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Samson followed by Matter Of Fact and Albertina Larockma. Lane two Skipping Sunshine followed by Engaged To Racing and Baloo.



Matter Of Fact suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Engaged To Racing won the race after a spectacular finish.
