It had been raining for several days at Joensuu but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jumping Closet sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Harri Koivunen wanted a little to much in the start and As My Honey galoped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Helpful Body, Helpful Architecture, As My Honey, Jumping Closet, Queen Of Hearts, Yndig Seier, Magic Connection, . A bird flew just in front of Helpful Body who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Helpful Architecture sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. As My Honey was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Helpful Architecture followed by Yndig Seier and Jumping Closet. Lane two Queen Of Hearts followed by As My Honey and Helpful Body.




Helpful Architecture kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Queen Of Hearts suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






As My Honey won. Queen Of Hearts came in second. Jumping Closet caught third place.
