The sun was shining on Lieksa today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rolling Sun found a gap and took the lead. Memento Mori followed before Siryessir.




Free From Spirits saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Red Instinct took the lead after 1000m. Born Bowler didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Red Instinct followed by Born Bowler and Lone Hero. Lane two Gennaio Larockma followed by Memento Mori and Siryessir.



Red Instinct sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Big Warrior galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Siryessir made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Gennaio Larockma.
