The weather had been good all week and Solvalla was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hard Beard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Rugged Pirate quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Essen Mein Abstauben took the lead rather easily. Zeek Boogy Bogg was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Mischievous Martens was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Rugged Pirate looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Rugged Pirate kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Essen Mein Abstauben was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Rugged Pirate were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The Next One sprinted over the finishline before Bonasera and Rugged Pirate.
