One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Close Blast could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Shooting Pirate saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Painkiller sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Painkiller followed by Close Blast and Athletic Annie. Lane two Dead Soldiers Walts followed by Falling Peach and Shooting Pirate.



Painkiller looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Shooting Pirate showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Poincon Express galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Dead Soldiers Walts sprinted over the finishline before Close Blast and Painkiller.
