One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Willie Wizard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Sweeper galoped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Short Fat Fanny galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Willie Wizard was still in the lead after 1500m. Duke Of Arch galloped for 40 m.



Duke Of Arch was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Willie Wizard kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sweeper didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
