One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ride The Lightning found a gap and took the lead. Whatever Pearl followed before Candy Lover.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Whatever Pearl looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Candy Lover couldn't come out from behind the leader, Ride The Lightning.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Ride The Lightning today. It continued in the lead. Candy Lover galloped for 50 m.



Ride The Lightning kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Candy Lover won the race after a spectacular finish.
