One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Got A Clue. Cours Du Dollar ended up behind the leader. Tarzan Boy got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Silver At Least was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Cours Du Dollar galoped for 50 m.

Nothing To Fear saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Nothing To Fear took the lead after 1000m. Cours Du Dollar didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Cours Du Dollar took the lead after 1000m. Got A Clue didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Cours Du Dollar kept the speed the whole finish and won before Got A Clue and Pas De Promettre.
