The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Sodankylä this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Good Looking Satellite took the lead after a very quick start. Jumping Closet was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Prince Charming sprinted to the front.

Hard Gambler sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hard Gambler followed by Le Samouraï and Good Looking Satellite. Lane two Prince Charming followed by Helpful Architecture and La Flamme Gloire.

Hard Gambler sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Movement Mind Map was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Good Looking Satellite galop. Good Looking Satellite lost 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused La Flamme Gloire galop. La Flamme Gloire lost 20 m.

Helpful Architecture made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Hard Gambler.
