The leader couldn't hold the lead and Dreaming Scope sprinted to the front.




Jacaranda sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Jacaranda followed by Radiating Maid and Xmas Ytre. Lane two Mercedes Palema followed by Opposing Cookie and Dreaming Scope.



Radiating Maid showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Jacaranda sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
