It had been raining for several days at Leangen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Princentena de Lou could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Queen Of Hearts saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Leontine took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Leontine followed by Lonely Top and Queen Of Hearts. Lane two La Flamme Gloire followed by Princentena de Lou and .



Lonely Top speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Leontine won the race after a spectacular finish.
