One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

King Glory sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Jorma Kontio wanted a little to much in the start and Colt King Cobra galoped for 10 m.

Mighty Iron quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Hathras started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Opposing Diary who started to galop and lost 40 m.

King Glory sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one King Glory followed by Mighty Boy and Mighty Iron. Lane two Angry Grey Rat followed by Rindis Crossing Princess and Broken Heart.

King Glory sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

King Glory looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

King Glory didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
