One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cornichon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Épousseter Dame, Heavy Runner, Cornichon, Moving Body, Velociraptor, Nothings Compare, Confident Star, Universe Magic.

Heavy Runner sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Falling Tank to trotting so they were disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Heavy Runner followed by Cornichon and Nothings Compare. Lane two Moving Body followed by Velociraptor and Universe Magic.

Falling Tank was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Velociraptor suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Moving Body made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Nothings Compare.
